Rearview is constantly looking for submissions of all styles of poetry, black and white artwork and photography, and very short stories and vignettes. We suggest before you submit that you read these guidelines carefully and look over back issues of Rearview to get the feel of what we're looking for. All contributors recieve one complimentary copy. Accepted work will appear in the print edition and may appear in the edition highlights online as well.

Poetry

We are currently looking for poetry of all styles, with a special emphasis on narrative poetry. We acquire First North American Serial Rights. We accept simultaneous submissions and previously published works, if the situation is noted in the submission.

All submissions should be made via email to rearviewquarterly@yahoo.com. Submissions should include three to seven poems in the body of the email, along with your name and e-mail address. A cover letter is optional. We will respond within three months. If accepted, you will be asked for a brief biography.

Short Stories

We will occasionally publish very short stories of exceptional quality. Short stories must be less than 1.000 words and relate to our central theme of memoir and narrative works.

All submissions should be sent in the body of an email to rearviewquarterly@yahoo.com. Please include your name and email address, along with a cover letter if you wish. We will respond within three months, but if accepted the work may be held for publication in future issues.

Art and Photography

We accept black and white photography and line drawings for the front and back covers, as well as several places within, Rearview Magazine. We aquire One Time Rights on artwork. Submissions should be fairly small in size. Please send submissions to rearviewquarterly@yahoo.com; we accept attachments or urls. In your email, please include a title to your artwork, your name, and your email address.
